By sponsoring an entire family, you can provide security, comfort and peace to a family that desperately needs it. 100% of your donation will go toward the rental payment for a new home for a family with children.
How It Works
Here’s what you can expect when you sponsor a family for a month or year:

Selecting the family
A family is either identified through our network and contacts or nominated by individuals through the contact section. Identified families are assessed to ensure we are able to assist them.

Paving the way forward
An action plan is developed around the families’ needs with the end goal to set them up in a way that gives them the opportunity to create a better life for themselves and their families and is sustainable for them, for the long term

Resources are pooled together and our team then actions the plan set out.
When You Sponsor A Family, You Open The Door for Deep & Lasting Transformation
When a family is sponsored it allows us to help them with the relocation to safer housing, rental of the unit and various other aspects of everyday living; this can extend into education, drivers license costs. When a family feels safe and secure, they are able to focus their attention into developing themselves and following their dreams and goals.
A Family Gets Rapid Assistance
Once we have finalised a family that needs help, we focus on where they work and how to find them safe accommodation within the area where they work or attend school to make the transition easier and without disrupting them from their community
Adults Secure Jobs Faster
People want to experience order, predictability and control in their lives. By ensuring safety at home, adults are able to focus on finding and securing work for the long term, without added anxiety of if they will sleep safely at night.
Children Can Excel at School
When children feel safe and secure, they are able to sleep better at night, therefore ensuring better concentration at school and in turn, better academic results.

Our Pilot Project
“Our first project was dedicated to Maggie. Maggie and her family were living in Nyanga when they suffered a series of attacks by armed intruders. Feeling like she was part of my family and unable to help her secure their home from intruders, I decided to help relocate them to safer housing. An estate in Kuilsriver was found, and they moved there in October 2021.” – Renaldo, Founder

How do you select housing for the families?
Each family’s needs are assessed and an area is selected which will give them the best opportunity to succeed. Factors such as schooling and close to public transport are also taken into account.
Can I choose where my donation goes?
All funds are pooled together to help the families in the program. We use the funds where it’s most needed, for that reason it would be best if we allocate the funds. Full feedback is given on the use of the funds.

Can I visit the family that I donate to?
Families within the program can be visited and would love to meet the people that have assisted in transforming their lives.
How are the housing costs calculated?
Each family gets assessed and an area in the Western Cape is selected which will be best suited for them. The area and the amount of people within the family to be catered for are the two major factors affecting the housing cost.The cost per family is therefore case specific.
What is included in each house?
Usually it includes the deposit for the rental, moving costs and rental per month.
How long will it take to move a family?
Once funding is secured, the move can happen as soon as the property is available and the family is ready to move.
Can I donate towards a child's education?
The funds are pooled together and utilized where needed. If a family is unable to afford schooling at the “new school” for their children, the pooled funds will be used for this. Education is one of our top priorities.
Can I nominate a family?
Yes, you can do this through our contact section. Once contact is made we send you a list of information required which will assist us with our assessment.
